Dear Parents/Teachers,

Our Islamic studies curriculum consists of four areas of study: 1) Qur'anic studies, 2) Aqidah, Fiqh & Akhlaq, 3) Sirah & Hadith, and 4) Islamic social studies. The course framework and syllabus of each subject has been thoroughly researched and designed by IQRA’s team of scholars and professional educators whose objective has been to effectively meet our children’s religious education needs.

Dear Children,

In this online academy we are going to learn many things about our religion, Islam. We will learn about Allah’s book, the Qur’an, we are going to find out the many ways of worship, we are going to study the life of our dear Prophet Muhammad and we are going to learn about Allah’s prophets, Muslim history and how to be helpful members of our communities.

Dear Parents/Teachers,

In this course students will become acquainted with the central beliefs, practices and ethics of the Islamic faith. The aqidah component covers the articles that comprise the Islamic creed, while fiqh deals with the “Five Pillars” and other aspects of ritual worship and regulations. The akhlaq segment helps students become familiar with Islamic virtues, ethics, morals and manners. Each lesson includes fun-filled interactive activities designed to make learning an enjoyable experience.

Dear Children,

Now we will learn about what we believe as Muslims! We will learn about the ways in which we are to worship Allah (SWT). The most important of these ways are called the “Five Pillars of Islam.” We will also practice the many ways a good Muslim should act and talk.

Dear Parents/Teachers,

In this course students will examine the biographies of Allah’s prophets and messengers that are mentioned in the Qur’an. In addition, they will learn about the importance that Islam places on familial and civic duties. Each lesson includes interactive activities that help students fully grasp the responsibilities they have as Muslims to the world around them.

Dear Children,

In this class we will discover the stories of Allah’s many prophets and messengers by reading and listening. We will learn about the teachings of these prophets. We will also find out about our duties towards our parents, family and community.

Dear Parents/ Teachers,

In this course students will study the Qur’an, the last of Allah’s revealed books. In addition to memorizing shorter surahs (chapters) and discovering their meanings, students will gain an overall understanding of the importance of the sacred text and its central themes. Each lesson includes interactive activities designed to help students strengthen their comprehension of the material presented.

Dear Children,

In this class we will learn about Allah’s book, the Qur’an. We will also begin to study Arabic in a fun way. Arabic is the language that the Qur’an is written in. We will memorize some short Surahs, or chapters, of the Qur’an. Then we can say these Surahs in our prayers, InshaAllah!.

Dear Parents / Teachers,

In this course students will explore the biography of the Prophet Muhammad in detail, allowing them to deepen their connection to him. In addition to this, the hadith component of the course presents the Prophet’s teachings in a relevant and systematic manner that encourages students to implement them in their daily lives. Each lesson includes interactive activities designed to help students strengthen their comprehension of the material presented.

Dear Children,

Here we will begin to learn about the life of Allah’s final messenger, Muhammad (S). In this class we will discover many wonderful and amazing facts about his life. We will also learn how to follow in his footsteps, InshaAllah!.
